Have questions about the Virtual Silent Auction?
As a fun addition to the CHRYSALIS AWARDS , we will be hosting a virtual Silent Auction starting July 31st and ending at the awards ceremony on August 13th!
What kinds of items will be in the auction?
This is up to you! We’re currently looking for items to be included in the auction and would love to highlight some of our members and their companies from across the state! Examples of past auction items have been gift certificates to favorite restaurants, museums, spas, tours, and activities; hotel stays; swag gift baskets; custom art pieces; sporting event tickets; and more. This year, we have everything from jewelry to handmade costumes, gift baskets, and books! If you have unused tickets, gift cards, or services that you would like to donate on an individual level, we’re happy to have those as well as corporate donations! All donations are tax-deductible. To donate, please contact Suzanne Haerther by June 5th.
Where do the proceeds go?
All proceeds will benefit USGBC Georgia’s work towards enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment by transforming the way buildings and communities are designed, built, and operated.
How can I participate as an individual?
1. Scour your junk drawer for unused tickets, gift cards, or nice products that you have
but would like to donate.
2. Sign up to bid on items for the Silent Auction. More information coming soon!
Since this is virtual, how will I get my items if I win?
For the majority of the items, these will be mailed to the address that you use when signing up for the online auction. Some (gift cards or vouchers) may be emailed to you instead. For a very limited portion of the auction items, we anticipate that you may have to arrange for pickup or delivery. If this is the case, it will be clearly designated in the item’s description, and the general area will be noted.
